Major reasons behind the heart attack.
Heart patients, if joined together would account for a considerable amount of population around the world. There are so many heart diseases, prevailed among these heart patients. Generally, these diseases lead to one single result, heart attack. There may be several causes for a heart attack. It is most important to know, what exactly is heart attack. Heart attack is wider term which generally occurs when the flow of oxygen-rich blood to the heart muscles is interrupted, abruptly. Still heart attacks cannot be confined to merely blockage of muscle. Heart attack can also be lead to heart failure. In such a condition its inability of the heart to pump enough blood, required for the body necessities.
There may be several reasons behind such heart diseases. Taking toxic substances such as cocaine, indulging into smoke, emotional stress, extreme cold conditions, these things often lead to heart attacks. Increasing age, obesity, stress and diabetic patients are more prone to heart diseases as compared to normal people.
Besides body pain, tiredness or dizziness, chest pain is the most symptoms of heart attacks though not all types of chest pains or bodily pain may have heart attack as the eventual result. The main reason of the chest pain is angina, angina occurs when heart is not getting enough blood and oxygen which causes problems later on. Another reason of chest pain can be observed when blood gets thick. The most common symptom is chest pain that may feel like tightness, heavy pressure, squeezing, or crushing pain. The pain may spread to the arm, shoulder, jaw, or back.
A heart attack occurs when blood flow to a part of your heart is blocked for a long enough time that part of the heart muscle is damaged or dies. It results when a blood clot completely obstructs a coronary vein supplying blood to the heart muscle and heart muscle diminishes. Another name for a heart attack is myocardial infarction, cardiac infarction and coronary thrombosis. If the flow of oxygen-rich blood to a section of heart muscle suddenly becomes blocked. People who are seventy plus and are diabetic may get a silent heart-attack. Silent heart attack refers to that heart attack which causes no pain and all of sudden attacks. Studies indicate that about one fifth of mild heart attacks cannot diagnose. If this is the case, there are many people who are suffering progressive heart muscle damage because it is not being treated. It is suggested to all the heart-patients to get diagnosed properly from their concern physician to stop heart attack.

Causes of chest pain
Cardiopulmonary arrest or circulatory arrest i.e. abrupt cessation of normal circulation of blood due to failure of heart to work effectively, this is also known as cardiac arrest. Technically Cardiac arrest is different from heart attack since in cardiac arrest the flow of blood is interrupted.
In situation such as cardiac arrest the blood circulation stops the flow of oxygen in the body. CEREBRAL Hypoxia is referred to that term when there is dearth of oxygen to mind which causes unconsciousness and lack in breathing. There is a possibility of brain injury if cardiac arrest takes place in body for more than 5 minutes, treatment like hypothermia is seen as very beneficial.
Chest pain is one of the most frightening symptoms a heart patient can have. It is sometimes difficult to recognize even for a doctor to tell what is causing chest pain and whether it is life-threatening.
Causes of chest pain are as follows:
Angina -Angina is a chest pain related to an imbalance between the oxygen demand of the heart and the amount of oxygen delivered via the blood to it. It is occurs due to blockage or narrowing of the blood vessels that supply blood to the heart. This is different from a heart attack in that the arteries are not completely blocked, and it causes little or no permanent damage to the heart. "Stable" angina occurs repetitively and predictably while exercising and goes away with rest. "Unstable" angina results in unusual and unpredictable pain not relieved totally by rest, or pain that actually occurs at rest.
Pulmonary embolism -Pulmonary embolism is a blood clot in one of the major blood vessels that supplies the lungs. It is a potentially life-threatening cause of chest pain but is not associated with the heart.
Cocaine-induced chest pain -It causes the blood vessels in the body to constrict. This can decrease the flow of blood to the heart, which causes chest pain. It also accelerates the progression of atherosclerosis, which is a risk factor for a heart attack.
Costochondritis -This is an inflammation of the cartilage between the ribs. Pain is typically located in the mid-chest, with intermittently dull and sharp pain which may be increased with deep breaths, movement, and deep touch.

Diet for healthy heart along with reasons for chest pain
The heart is considered as the one of the most essential parts of a human body. It is the healthy heart which not only provides oxygen to the body but also purifies the blood. If the heart stays away from a disease it means the secret of leading a healthy life is known to everyone. A diet plays an important role in making a healthy heart. Diets with low calorie and cholesterol level or foods without fats are recommended to be taken for healthy heart. The recommended diet for healthy heart includes wholesome diet like Blueberries, Green vegetables, Soya protein, Apples, Almonds, Walnuts, and Oatmeal.
Heart diseases are the eventual stage caused by chest pain. There can be multiple reasons for chest pain. Reasons like consumption of food with high cholesterol level such as oily food, food with animal fat, may cause a chest pain. These types of foods create blockage in the heart vessels obstructing the flow of blood and oxygen to heart, causing chest pain.
It has been found that there are more than 100 million people fall into the category of heart patients, which comes out as one out of every ten is a heart patient. This is a significant reason for higher mortality rate in India. There is a great need to curb heart disease and decrease number of heart patients which are increasing at a very fast rate.

Heart Attack : What is Heart Attack?
A heart attack (also known as a myocardial infarction) is the death of heart muscle from the sudden blockage of a coronary artery by a blood clot. Coronary arteries are blood vessels that supply the heart muscle with blood and oxygen. Blockage of a coronary artery deprives the heart muscle of blood and oxygen, causing injury to the heart muscle. Injury to the heart muscle causes chest pain and chest pressure sensation. If blood flow is not restored to the heart muscle within 20 to 40 minutes, irreversible death of the heart muscle will begin to occur. Muscle continues to die for six to eight hours at which time the heart attack usually is "complete." The dead heart muscle is eventually replaced by scar tissue.
